Alumni Overview

The Alumni Association of G. Venkataswamy Naidu College plays a significant role in the overall development of the institution through financial assistance and various support services. Since its establishment in 1966, the college has produced a large number of graduates who have made notable contributions in diverse fields.

Many alumni of the college hold eminent positions as distinguished scientists, academicians, poets, journalists, politicians, cinema personalities, and industrialists, earning recognition in their respective professions.

The College Alumni Association is registered under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975), Registration No. Sl.No/67/2015, dated 7 May 2015, and is renewed annually. The association offers both lifetime and annual memberships.

Alumni actively participate in the academic and developmental activities of the institution by serving as resource persons for meetings, seminars, and academic events, thereby fostering meaningful interaction between alumni and current students. The association also undertakes welfare initiatives for the benefit of students.

The GVN College Alumni Association serves as a vital link between the institution and its graduates. As an active and engaged body, it conducts regular meetings where members provide valuable suggestions and guidance, promoting lifelong learning through the sharing of knowledge, experience, and expertise with students.
